Year 6 into 7 Enrolment Process

Local

If your child is currently enrolled in Year 6 in a public primary school, and you wish to apply to enrol in our school in Year 7 of the following year, contact the Year 6 Coordinator at your current primary school to obtain an "Expression of Interest" form to complete and return to them. The primary school will forward the information to us and we will contact you once a decision has been made about your child's potential enrolment, and next steps.

In NSW Government schools, applying to move from primary school to high school is a 2-step process:

STEP 1 - The first step is to complete a Moving to high school expression of interest.

When completing the form, you will be able to indicate which school(s) you would like your child to attend in Year 7. This form will be provided and submitted through your current Primary School.

STEP 2 - The second step is to submit an enrolment application, which will be issued to you by the high school after they have assessed your expression of interest.

If your child is currently attending a NSW non-Government school, please contact our school directly for an Expression of Interest form.

If your child is currently enrolled in Year 6 in a non-government primary school, and you wish to apply to enrol for our school in Year 7 of the following year, contact us to obtain an "Expression of Interest" form to complete and return to us. We will contact you once a decision has been made about your child's potential enrolment, and explain the next steps in the application process.

Non-Local

Students living outside the local intake area may be eligible for enrolment, subject to enrolment availability within the enrolment ceiling and in line with The Jannali High School selection criteria.

• The student has siblings currently attending The Jannali High School
• The student has demonstrated participation in an extra-curricular activity
• The student has previously attended one of our 9 local feeder schools
