Representative Sport Update

The following information outlines what is occurring in the school representative sporting pathway up to the end of Week 3 Term 3.

Postponed events

In line with the extension of COVID-19 restrictions for Greater Sydney, all NSWPSSA and NSWCHSSA/All Schools events scheduled in Weeks 1 –    3 have been postponed. Various Association events have also been postponed, please check the Sydney East School Sport Association webpage for further information. We will investigate dates and venues with a view to running these events later in the year and provide regular updates.

Postponed NSWPSSA and NSWCHSSA/All Schools events in Week 1 - Week 3 of Term 3

In line with the Premier’s announcement yesterday of the extension of COVID-19 restrictions for Greater Sydney, the following events have been postponed:

·       NSWCHSSA Volleyball Finals on Wednesday 14 July and Thursday 15 July 2021 at Homebush

·       All Schools Cross Country Championship on Friday 16 July 2021 at Sydney Motorsport Park

·       NSW All Schools Secondary Opens Hockey Tri-Series on Monday 19 July 2021 at Newcastle

·       NSW All Schools Secondary Water Polo Quad-Series on Thursday 22 July 2021 and Friday 23 July 2021 at Woy Woy

·       NSW All Schools Secondary 15years Touch Football on Saturday 24 July 2021 and Sunday 25 July 2021 at Narrabeen

·       NSWPSSA Netball Championship from Monday 19 July to Wednesday 21 July 2021 at Menai

·       NSWPSSA Boys Football Championship from Tuesday 27 July to Thursday 29 July at Griffith

·       NSWCHSSA Gymnastics from Tuesday 27 July to Thursday 29 July at Glendale

·       NSWCHSSA Rugby 7’s Girls Finals on Wednesday 28 July (Location TBA)

Sydney East

Postponed Sydney East Schools Sports Association events in Weeks 1 – 3 Term 3

In line with the Premier’s announcement regarding the extension of COVID-19 restrictions and due to concerns for our students, staff and families, the following Sydney East Schools Sports Association events have been postponed:

·       Secondary Trampolining trial on Thursday 22 July at Miranda RSL Youth Club, Miranda

·       Secondary Netball knockout final 8 Gala Day on Monday 26 July at Menai Indoor Sports Centre, Menai                                          

·       Primary Boys Softball trial on Monday 26 July at Captain Cook Softball Fields, Woolooware

·       Primary Girls Softball trial on Tuesday 27 July at Captain Cook Softball Fields, Woolooware

·       Secondary Athletics Championship on Tuesday 27 July and Wednesday 28 July at Sylvania Waters Athletics Fields, Sylvania Waters.
