Continuation of Learning 16/07/2021

I want to thank our community for their commitment and application to our ‘learning from home’ program as we complete Week 1 of what, at this stage, will be another 2 weeks in this environment. As discussed previously, the school will be sending out to families today the Continuation of Learning program for Weeks 2-3 of Term 3. These programs will be presented as separate Year group documents. Each of the programs will contain an outline of the Activities and Resources required for each and every subject. In conjunction with this program, students are still required to access their Google Classrooms to find specifically what needs to be completed. If a student is having difficulty with accessing or understanding the work, we encourage them to communicate with their teacher through this platform.

Subject Selections for 2022 (Year 8, 9, 10)

A PowerPoint presentation will be uploaded to each of the Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 Year Adviser Google classrooms next week that will provide students and parents with information required to  make informed decisions regarding elective choices, as well as provide the necessary ‘how to’ information in order to make their online elective choices.

Year 10

Monday, 19^th July – The PowerPoint will be uploaded to Year 10 Year Adviser Google Classroom. A log- in code will be emailed to students via the student email address. Students will have until the 6^th August to complete their online selection. Note: There is no preferential treatment given to students completing this process earlier than the due date. If any students are having difficulty with this process, please email the school jannali-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au  and direct your inquiry to Mrs Waser (Deputy Principal).

Year 9

Wednesday 21^st July - Year 9 will have to select one (1) additional elective for the commencement of Year 10. The subject selection booklet containing all the relevant information will be emailed to the student email address. The PowerPoint will be uploaded to Year 9 Year Adviser Google Classroom. A log- in code will be emailed to students via the student email address. Students will have until the 13^th August to complete their online selection. Note: There is no preferential treatment given to students completing this process earlier than the due date. Year 8
