Dear Parents/Caregivers
This year our P&C have applied for a government grant on behalf of the school to upgrade the Tech Box in our school hall. This upgrade will comprise expanding the physical space inside the Tech Box and updating the technology required to produce performances on stage.
Creating a state of the art facility will enable us to deliver Stage 6 VET Entertainment support career pathways for students currently involved in CAPA programs and Tech Crew. It will also enhance productions of our CAPA programs such as Dance, Drama, Music and Band.
The upgraded Tech Box will also benefit our local community including our partner primary schools, many of whom use our school hall for their end of year presentation days. We currently hire our school hall to Endeavour Harmony and Menai Music.
We have been told that there have been an overwhelming number of applications and therefore school communities have been asked to complete a petition to help with the decision making process.
